Vikings Ticket Prices Soar

For the first time in many years, Vikings Tickets have gone up in price for a late season game. I got up this morning and went online to hunt down a couple of Minnesota Vikings Tickets for today's game versus the Atlanta Falcons and was amazed to see that the tickets that were selling for $9/Ticket a few weeks ago are now selling for $39/Ticket. This is obviously a case of bandwagon jumping. If the Vikes win, people become fans and buy tickets and if they lose, they watch the games at home. I think that I am going to take my chances and go check out Ticket King on the corner of Washington and Chicago. They always seem to have Cheap Vikings Tickets.

Golden Gophers Tickets

The Minnesota Golden Gopher Football team is headed to Tempe, Arizona to play the Kansas Jayhawks in the Insight Bowl. The game is going to be played on December 31st and the face value of the tickets is $55. There is absolutely no chance that Gophers Football Bowl Tickets will sell out so don't panic and buy crappy seats from the box office. I am sure that there will be plenty of bargains to be had outside Sun Devil Stadium the day of the game. If you want to have Gopher Tickets in hand for the game before you leave for Tempe, Ticket King has lower level seats starting at $100/Ticket. I am extremely jealous of any fans making the trip to Tempe. Please bring back some sunshine for me!

Minnesota Wild Tickets 11/24/2008

There are plenty of bargains to be had on Wild Hockey Tickets for next Monday's game versus the Washington Capitals. You can get in the door for as little as $35/Ticket and super good seats close to the action are only going for $119/Ticket. That seems crazy cheap for Wild NHL Tickets against an Eastern Conference opponent with a superstar like Ovechkin. If you are into the Minnesota Wild, I recommend that you snap some of these bargains up and head down to the Xcel Energy Center.

Minnesota Gophers Football Tickets

The last ever Gopher Football game at the HHH Metrodome is only two days away and Minnesota Gopher Football Tickets seem to be disappearing fast! I am not sure whether it is the fact that the Minnesota Gophers are playing Iowa or that it is the last ever game at the Metrodome that is causing the huge demand but I am definitely going to check out this historic event. It looks as though lower level seats for the game start at around $129/Ticket and go up to $199/Ticket. This is not an event that I would recommend waiting for prices to drop. Go buy a few Gopher Tickets and head down the the dome this Saturday. GO Gophers!!!

Inexpensive Timberwolves Tickets

If you aren't into Gophers Basketball but you are still a fan of the game of basketball, there are many bargains to be had on tonight's Minnesota Timberwolves game versus the Portland Trail Blazers at the Target Center. Minnesota Timberwolves Tickets in the upper level can be purchased for as little as $14/Ticket and if you want to spoil yourself, I even found a group of four VIP Center Court Timberwolves Tickets only four rows up for just $169/Ticket. I know that those prices are well below the face-value of the tickets. I am sure that the prices will start to go up if the Minnesota Timberwolves start winning so I would take advantage of deals like this and Buy Timberwolves Tickets now!!!

Golden Gophers Weekend

If you bleed maroon and gold and your favorite stuffed animal is a gopher, this is a dream weekend. It is hard to believe, but there are five men's sporting events on the University of Minnesota campus this weekend. Here is a list of this weekend's events:

*Friday, 11/14/08 @ 8:00 Minnesota Gophers Men's Basketball vs. Georgia State Panthers
*Saturday, 11/15/08 @ 1:07 Minnesota Gophers Men's Hockey vs. Michigan Tech Huskies
*Saturday, 11/15/08 @ 8:00 Minnesota Gophers Men's Basketball vs. Bowling Green Falcons
*Sunday, 11/16/08 @ 1:07 Minnesota Gophers Men's Hockey vs. Michigan Tech Huskies
*Sunday, 11/16/08 @ 6:00 Minnesota Gophers Men's Basketball vs. Georgia State Panthers

It appears as though the amount of events at Mariucci Arena and Williams Arena this weekend has caused there to be plenty of bargains on Gophers Hockey Tickets and Gopher Basketball Tickets. It is a great weekend to be a Gophers fan so grab a couple of Gopher Tickets and head down to campus for some great collegiate action!!! SKI-U-MAH!!!

Inexpensive Vikings Tickets

I have a recommendation for inexpensive entertainment today if you are bored and looking for something to do. It is possible to buy Minnesota Vikings Tickets for $9 to today's game versus the Houston Texans. That is almost less than what a movie costs these days. If you want to sit on the 50 Yardline, Vikings Football Tickets are only $99/Ticket. That is crazy cheap!!! I know that if you buy them from Ticket King, you can pick up the Vikings Tickets two blocks from the Metrodome. Remember, next week the Vikings play the Green Bay Packers and the tickets will be much more expensive. GO VIKES!!!

Beastie Boys at Roy Wilkins

For those of you in the 30-40 year old range, the Beastie Boys are playing at Roy Wilkins Auditorium November 1st. The Roy Wilkins Auditorium Tickets for this show sold out instantly through Ticketmaster the day that they went on sale. When I checked the after market prices a week ago, tickets on the main floor were selling for $145/Ticket. Now, if you go to the same site, you can buy the same Roy Wilkins Tickets for $95/Ticket. My gut tells me that the ticket prices won't drop much lower. If you want to check out the Beastie boys, I would buy your seats now.

Hot Minnesota Wild Tickets

The Minnesota Wild Home Opener versus the Boston Bruins was last night and it was the biggest Minnesota Wild Home Opener ticket since the Minnesota Wild's inaugural season. I checked around online a couple of hours before face-off and the cheapest seats available were a pair in the Club Level for $159/Ticket. To make matters even worse for the avid Minnesota Wild Fan, there were only six Wild Hockey Tickets available for the game. I hope that this isn't a sign of things to come, because I can't afford those prices. GO WILD!!!

Minnesota Viking Tickets

After the Minnesota Vikings big win last night over the New Orleans Saints, I jumped on my computer to see what the deal was on Minnesota Viking Tickets. I was totally amazed by the fact that you can buy a Vikings Ticket for the game this Sunday for $5. What is going on in the St. Paul/Minneapolis ticket scene? I am actually a little embarrassed to be a Vikings fan because of the fact that regular season Viking Football Tickets are being sold for $5. Keep in mind that if the Vikings go on a long winning streak, all of the fair weather fans will come out of the woodwork and it will cost $100/Ticket for the later games. WHAT A JOKE!!!

Minnesota Twins Ticket Market Explodes

The Minnesota Twins three game series versus the hated Chicago White Sox turned out to be one of the HOTTEST Minnesota Twins Tickets that I have seen in a long time. The almost sold out Metrodome was rocking and the fans that were lucky enough to score Twins Tickets to any of the three games were treated to some great baseball. On Thursday, I did a little online browsing and found that Twins Baseball Tickets between the bases in the lower level were selling for between $95 and a whopping $375/Ticket. All I could say was "HOLY SH#@". I knew that I couldn't afford those prices so I resigned myself to the fact that If I want to go to one of the last Twins games of the year, I am going to have to grab some seats for one of the games versus the Kansas City Royals. Twins Fever has hit the Twin Cities. GO TWINS!!!

#1 Minnesota Vikings Fan

My contact at Ticket King in Minneapolis just emailed me a great picture of the #1 Minnesota Vikings Fan in the country. I was told that she came into the office with her mentor in order to buy two Vikings Tickets for the 9/14 game versus the Indianapolis Colts. My Ticket King contact was so overwhelmed with her immense amount of "PURPLE PRIDE" that he gave her an authentic Vikings helmet autographed by Randy Moss. If you happen to see her at the Metrodome during the Vikings game on 9/14, make sure to tell her what a great fan she is!

Minnesota Timberwolves Tickets

The hottest Minnesota Timberwolves tickets this season will be for the game on November 21st when the Timberwolves play the Boston Celtics. This is the first chance for Minnesota Timberwolves fans to see Kevin Garnett play with the 2008 World Champion Boston Celtics at the Target Center. Last year Timberwolves basketball tickets for the game versus the Celtics started at $75 and went all the way up to $800. The prices were still expensive even though Garnett did not play due to an injury. This year I expect the prices to be even higher and for the tickets to disappear fast. Buy now or pay more later. GO TIMBERWOLVES!!!

Atmosphere at First Avenue Nightclub

First Avenue Nightclub is going to welcome back our favorite Minneapolis based Indie Hip-Hop group! Atmosphere will be returning to First Avenue Nightclub on Sunday, November 2ND and I know that these tickets will be a very hot commodity! Especially since there is only one show this time compared to multiple shows the last time Atmosphere rocked First Avenue. Atmosphere was also the main headliner at Soundset this past May, drawing a crowd of almost 12,000 fans.

After more than a decade of hosting sold-out shows at First Avenue Nightclub, we can only expect the same this year. Another added bonus this year for some, is that smoking is no longer permitted anywhere in the venue. So get your First Avenue Nightclub tickets to Atmosphere now before its too late!

Cheap Minnesota Wild Tickets

The Minnesota Wild will be playing there first game of the 2008-2009 season on September 24th at the Xcel Energy Center versus the Columbus Blue Jackets. This is your first chance to see the new Minnesota Wild live in person and best of all you don't have to break the bank. The preseason Minnesota Wild Tickets are going for much less than regular season Wild Tickets, but the games still have all of the same excitement.
I even found preseason Minnesota Wild Hockey Tickets for the game on September 24th for only $15. I can't resist the opportunity to watch the Wild at the Xcel Energy Center battle against the Columbus Blue Jackets for only $15. There is no better time to come see the action before the cold weather hits and before the ticket prices are expensive. I recommend that you enjoy a night out support the Minnesota Wild for less than it costs to go to a movie. GO WILD!!!

Minnesota Gophers Football Tickets

Here I have spent my whole life following the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers football squad in match-ups against powerhouse teams like the Iowa Hawkeyes and Wisconsin Badgers. Those are the games my family and friends always get excited about and those Gophers football tickets go super quickly.

So, imagine my shock when I banked on getting great seats for a lesser attended game against Montana State on September 13…and found out that the available tickets are already diminishing virtually in front of my eyes! Since when did Montana State become the big game of the Gophers football season? In fact, I compared available Gophers football tickets for this game with Golden Gophers football tickets for games against teams like the Iowa Hawkeyes, and the Montana State game has significantly fewer seats available.

Minnesota Gopher football fans take note: if you want a great seat during the Montana State game, you need to get online and claim your Minnesota Gopher football tickets ASAP. Apparently the entire state of Montana is flying in for this match-up, so buy your Gopher football tickets today!

What is up with Minnesota Twins Tickets?

I don’t get it. Is it the trade of Torii Hunter that people are still sore about? Is it higher gas and food prices dampening Twins fans enthusiasm? Here we finally have the Minnesota Twins just half a game out of first place, yet the sale of Minnesota Twins tickets are, in a word, sluggish.

Take this weekend, for example. The Minnesota Twins are taking on the Seattle Mariners. An exciting match-up, right? Not according to Minnesota Twins ticket sales. I just checked Ticket King , my favorite source for fair priced Twins tickets, and the going cost for prime seats just 17 rows up from the dugout is only $49. In case you are not aware, this is below face value for these Minnesota Twins Baseball tickets.

Well, I’m not a fair-weather fan so I plan to take advantage of these Minnesota Twins ticket deals while they last. With the baseball season starting to wind down, every game really counts and I plan to be there for them all. At least these Minnesota Twins tickets are cheap so I’ll have money left over for memorabilia. Can’t beat another Minnesota Twins pennant decorating the den!

Minnesota Twins Tickets

This week's pivotal series between the Minnesota Twins and the first place Chicago White Sox is becoming tough Twins Tickets to find. It looks like Minnesota Twins will sell out the lower level for all of the games at the Metrodome. The online availability from companies like Ticket King has really dwindled in the last week. They are selling Twins Tickets in the lower level starting at $49/Ticket and going up to $129/Ticket. There haven't been many mid week games at the Metrodome in the last few years that have been this hot of a ticket. I am definitely going to catch one of the Twins games this week at the HHH Metrodome. Who knows, maybe the Twins will be in first place this time next week?

College Football Tickets

Like I promised, I have done some additional research into solid college football ticket sites and I found another good one. If for some reason, you are looking For Akron Zips Football Tickets, I have the site for you. Type in www.akronzipsfootballtickets.com if you are looking for Zips Football Tickets. My Hunch is that there aren't a ton of Akron Zips fans in the Twin Cities but if down the road the Golden Gophers play versus Akron at the Rubber Bowl, you will now know where to find the best deals on tickets. After checking out this site, I think that because of their cool name, I am now a Zips Fan!

Vikings Tickets Selling Fast

Vikings Tickets seem to be selling fast for the games versus the Indianapolis Colts, Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers. If you are at all interested in seeing any of these three games, I would buy the now. The prices are still relatively low and the availability is at its best right now. Keep in mind, if somehow the Vikings sign Brett Favre, Minnesota Vikings Tickets will probably double in price due to the crazy demand. Won't it be fun to watch Favre run around the Metrodome as a Viking instead of ripping the hearts out of all of us Vikings fans.

College Football Tickets

After I found the excellent Minnesota Golden Gophers Football Tickets site that I told you about in my last post, I did some more research and found a similar college football ticket site. I know that this doesn't fall with in the Twin Cities, but I found a website that specializes in Texas A&M Aggies Football Tickets that I think is owned by the same people that own the Golden Gophers Football Tickets site. I am going to do some more checking because I feel like there are probably similar sites for all major college football teams.

It can't hurt to be well informed about the ticket market in other cities. That way when the Gophers start playing better opponents in football before the Big Ten season, I will know where to find excellent tickets

Minnesota Gophers Football Tickets

If you are hoping that you will have the opportunity to buy Minnesota Gophers Football Tickets at TCF Bank Stadium, you better step up to the plate and buy Gophers Football Tickets this year. By the looks of how impressive the new TCF Bank Stadium is going to be, Golden Gophers Football Tickets are going to be a hot commodity in years to come and the only way you can guarantee a seat is by buying Gophers Football Tickets for this year.

As a side note, I found a Gophers Football Ticket site that rocks. There is more information on the Gophers Football schedule, roster, opponents and other pertinent topics than any Gophers Fan could ever want. Check it out: www.gopherfootballtickets.com

Vikings vs. Colts Tickets

It looks like the hottest Vikings Tickets this fall are to the Vikings game versus the Indianapolis Colts on September 14th. It appears as though tickets are disappearing fast and the prices are going up. Presently, it looks like the prices range is $49-$499/Ticket. However, I wouldn't be surprised if at some point the prices for this game exceed the prices on the Vikings Football Tickets for the Green Bay Packers game. Vikings Fever has officailly hit the Twin Cities. SKOL VIKINGS!!!

Wicked Tickets at Orpheum Theatre

The hottest Orpheum Theatre Tickets in recent history were Tickets to see Wicked a few years ago. Well guess what? There is a one month run of Wicked at the Orpheum Theatre starting on 11/5/2008 and ending on 12/7/2008. If you want tickets to any of the shows, don't delay because Wicked Tickets will sell fast and online Minnesota Ticket Brokers will be charging BIG BUCKS! If you are looking for the most bang for the buck, you should try to find some seats in the Boxes. The Orpheum Theatre considers them "obstructed view" but they are really good and are much cheaper. My wife has told me that this is a "must see."

Minnesota Twins vs. New York Yankees Tickets

I thought that I had seen everything until I logged online to Ticket King and saw that some Twins Tickets for this weekend's games versus the hated New York Yankees are selling for less than face value. What has the world come to? I am not sure if this cheap twins tickets pricing is simply a result of the bad economy but nevertheless if you are a fan of MLB Baseball, you can buy Minnesota Twins Tickets for less than face value for this weekend's games. I can't wait to go and "boo" the New York Yankees tomorrow!

Friday, May 23, 2008

Cheap Saint Paul Saints Tickets

I have some good news for those of you interested in heading down to Midway Stadium this Summer for a Saint Paul Saints game. It is possible to buy great reserved Saint Paul Saints Tickets for anywhere from $9-$49/Ticket. It looks like weekend games are more expensive with the highest prices being on the tickets for the Saints games over the Fourth of July Weekend. Like usual, the best prices can be found at Ticket King. They have tickets in the second row behind home and it looks like every other Ticket Broker is just marking up Ticket King's Tickets. Grab you grill and a twelve pack and head down to Midway Stadium in St. Paul for some good old fashioned outdoor baseball. Say "Hi" to the pig for me!

Thursday, May 8, 2008

No Twins vs. Red Sox Ticket Demand!

I was surprised to see that excellent Minnesota Twins Tickets for this weekends series can be purchased from an online Minnesota Ticket Broker for close to the face value of the tickets. The Minnesota Twins play the Boston Red Sox at the Metrodome starting this Friday and wrap up the four game series on Monday. On one hand, it looks like there are plenty of Twins Tickets available for all four of the games, so don't feel like you have to rush out and buy them now. On the other hand, it is possible to buy great Twins Tickets for close to face value so why not buy them now. I am not sure how much cheaper they will go. GO TWINS!!!

Saturday, May 3, 2008

Vikings vs. Colts Tickets

It looks like the Minnesota Vikings game versus the Indianapolis Colts is a super hot ticket. Historically speaking, the Vikings home opener isn't a sought after ticket but this year, it looks to be in very high demand. Ticket prices range form $69.00/Ticket for a seat in the "nose bleed" area to $399/Ticket for a seat on the 50 yardline in the lower level. Those prices are double what Vikings Tickets for the home opener at the Metrodome have sold for in years past. My gut tells me that it is Colts fans that are driving up the demand and pushing the prices to a higher than normal level. GO VIKES!!!

Jerey Boys Tickets Disappear

If you procrastinated buying your Jersey Boys Tickets for the Orpheum Theatre Minneapolis you are out of luck. I checked around and it is virtually impossible to find any Jersey Boys Tickets for this weekend, which is the last weekend of the run. Historically speaking, the last weekend for any Broadway Theatre in Minneapolis/St. Paul is an extremely tough ticket to find because word of mouth gets people excited about seeing a show and those people have to scramble to find tickets. Now I see that Wicked is coming to the Twins Cities, so don't make the same mistake and buy your Wicked Tickets early.

Monday, April 14, 2008

Cheap Minnesota Twins Tickets

If you are looking for some cheap entertainment, it looks as though it is possible to get excellent Minnesota Twins Tickets for the Minnesota Twins games on 4/16 & 4/17 for as little as $29/Ticket. I am pretty sure that the Twins Tickets that are being sold for $29/Ticket have a face value of $50/Ticket. I know that they are playing the lowly Tampa Bay Devil Rays, but it still is a Major League Baseball Game. It is funny to find that it is actually cheaper to purchase Minnesota Twins Baseball Tickets from an online ticket broker versus directly from the Minnesota Twins. The best sites that I have found to Buy Twins Tickets are:

1) www.minnesotatwinstickets.com
2) www.ticketkingonline.com
3) www.webtixxs.com

Cheap Minnesota Twins Tickets can be found early in the season but prices seem to drastically increase when the Minnesota Twins play the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees. If you are simply a Minnesota Twins Fan, I recommend catching the game this Wednesday or Thursday because the prices can't be beat. GO TWINS!!!

High School Musical

One of the hottest shows to hit the Historic Hennepin Avenue Theatre district was High School Musical at the State Theatre Minneapolis. High School Musical tickets ranged anywhere from $99-$199 and drew kids and parents from all over the state. E.N. & A.P. said the show "was awesome" and that Sharpay was their favorite. The High School Musical State Theatre show was full of energy just like the fans it brings in! If the State Theatre Minnesota can continue to book top shows like High School Musical, there should be no fear of the marquee going dark.

Saturday, March 29, 2008

Orpheum Theatre Jersey Boys Tickets

I was extremely surprised to find that it is possible to buy Jersey Boy Tickets for the Historic Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis for at or even below the face value of the tickets. I actually found great main floor seats in row E for the show tomorrow for only $99.00/Ticket. That is an amazing price considering the same seats are being sold for almost triple that towards the end of the run in Minneapolis. If you are a spontaneous person, check out Ticket King the day before the performance that you want to go to because it appears as thought that is when they lower their Jersey Boys ticket prices. It looks as though the show runs through the end of April.

Friday, March 28, 2008

Minnesota Wild Tickets

Lower Level Minnesota Wild Tickets with a face value of $71 were selling for $125/Ticket outside the Xcel Energy Center tonight. Anyone looking for a bargain tonight was shut out because I was told that there were very few Wild Tickets that changed hands in the few hours prior to the game. I am sure that Sunday's game versus the Colorado Avalanche will be an even tougher ticket to find. The last two Minnesota Wild games are big games so good luck if you don't already have your seats. GO WILD!!!

Wednesday, March 26, 2008

WEEN at Roy Wilkins Auditorium !!!!!

Crazy rockers, Ween, will be back to Minnesota in July at Roy Wilkins Auditorium. I think that this location suits them much better than their show at the Orpheum Theater last summer.

Ween will be touring in support of their new album “LaCucaracha.” They originally recorded 50 songs for the album and narrowed it down the 13 tracks that made the disc.

Ween is a band that has had their hands in every kind of music genre imaginable. They own a record label, they sing dance songs, rock songs, and sing ballads. Even if you do not consider yourself a fan or don’t think you’ve heard a song, I assure you a Ween song has crossed your path. They have been on soundtracks ranging from “Dude Where’s My Car” to U-Turn,” “South Park” and “Spongebob Squarepants.” They have contributed to one of my favorite albums off all time, Queens of the Stone Age’s “Songs for the Death” on the tracks “Mosquito Song” “Gonna Leave You” and “Six Shooter.”

Ween has been acclaimed for their live shows and their show July 19th at the Roy Wilkins Auditorium will be no exception. Roy Wilkins Auditorium tickets will be sure to go fast for this Ween show – the tickets for their show at the Orpheum sold quickly! Seeing Ween July 19th will be a great warm up to Tom Petty and Heartbreakers at the Target Center on the 23rd!

Minnesota Twins Opening Day Tickets

Minnesota Twins Tickets for Opening Day 3/31 are going for crazy money? After reading the most recent article on the Minnesota Twins in the local newspaper, I decided that I would like to check out Minnesota Twins Opening Day in person. Unfortunately, After browsing online for tickets, I decided that instead I will be watching the game from my couch. In order to get Twins Tickets between the bases in the lower level, I currently would have to pay almost $200/Ticket. I am sure that the return of Torii Hunter has something to do with the high ticket prices but I also feel like people are fired up to see what this new look team can do. I am going to check the prices this weekend and if I can grab a couple of good lower level Minnesota Twins seats for less than $75/Ticket, I am going to snap them up. If not, I will take a pass because the beer is much cheaper and the bathrooms are much cleaner at my house. GO TWINS!!!

Sunday, March 9, 2008

Vikings vs. Packers Tickets

It will be very interesting to see how the retirement of Brett Favre will change the demand and the prices of Vikings vs. Packers Tickets at the Metrodome this year. My hunch is that the upper level end zone seats that have historically sold for around $95/Ticket will probably drop to somewhere around $75/Ticket and seats on the 50 Yard line will drop from $395/Ticket to $345/Ticket. Brett Favre was definitely a big draw but the bigger draw is and always has been the rivalry between the Green Bay Packers and the Minnesota Vikings. Don't get fooled into thinking that it is ever going to be cheap to get into a Vikings vs. Packers game at the HHH Metrodome because it won't be. Minnesota Vikings Tickets when they play the Green Bay Packers will always be sought after and expensive. GO VIKES!!!

Affordable Minnesota Wild Tickets?!

I think that the recent losing streak by the Minnesota Wild has loosened up the Wild ticket supply. This Sunday’s game of Minnesota Wild vs Los Angeles Kings is super affordable. You can get in the door for around $40/ticket and into the lower level for $80/ticket. Those prices are much lower than last Sunday’s game versus the Calgary Flames. I recommend snapping up some Minnesota Wild Tickets for this Sunday’s game because unless the Minnesota Wild continue to lose, you won’t have another opportunity to see a Wild game at those prices. Even if the team is going through a rough stretch, the Xcel Energy Center is still a great place to watch a Minnesota Wild hockey game. GO WILD!!!

Tuesday, February 26, 2008

Gopher Hockey Ticket Demand

Gopher Hockey ticket demand has reached a new low. Historically speaking, whenever the Minnesota Golden Gophers play the Wisconsin Badgers, you can’t touch a ticket without having to pay big bucks. Well this year, my buddy was able to buy two tickets for less than face value outside Mariucci Arena on Saturday. What is the world coming to when you can buy Badgers vs. Gopher Hockey Tickets for less than face value? I think that there is only one more home Gopher Hockey series this year. Don’t pay too much because if Gopher vs. Badger Hockey Tickets are cheap, I am sure that the ticket prices for the rest of the season will be super cheap. GO GOPHERS!!!

Thursday, February 21, 2008

Minnesota Twins tickets expensive

Minnesota Twins opening day tickets are super expensive. Ticket prices for opening day are historically similar to the prices of the series’ versus the New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox. However, this year it looks like Twins Opening Day Tickets are the most sought after. I am sure that it has something to do with the fact that it is Torii Hunter’s first game back at the dome. If you aren’t dying to be at the Metrodome for Opening Day, the prices for the three games after opening day are way less. You can get great Minnesota Twins Tickets for those games for around $50/ticket versus $175/Ticket for the March 31st/Opening Day game. GO TWINS!!!

Monday, February 18, 2008

Wisconsin Badgers Basketball Tickets

I know that I generally don't comment on tickets to events outside of Minneapolis/St. Paul but I need to make an exception. I went to Madison for the Gopher Basketball game versus the Wisconsin Badgers last Saturday. We didn't get to the game until tip off and I was amazed to see all of the people standing outside the Kohl Center looking for tickets. I asked one of the "Scalpers" what Wisconsin Badgers Basketball Tickets were selling for and I was told that it was $60 to just get in the door. Not too bad for a stadium that hold like 17,000 people. It makes me wonder what tickets will sell for outside Williams Arena when the Gopher Basketball team makes the next step.

Minnesota Vikings Raise Prices

I wasn't surprised to hear that the Minnesota Vikings raised the price of Minnesota Vikings Tickets for the upcoming season. For example, the season tickets that they sold for $196.10/season last year were raised to $250/season this year. That is a pretty big percentage increase. I am sure that if the Minnesota Vikings actually have a good year on the field next year, the Vikings will really stick it to their season ticket holders and jack the prices up even higher.

For those Vikings season ticket holders that are feeling sorry for themselves, there are actually some NFL teams that hammered their season ticket holder even more than the Vikings did. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers raised the price of Tampa Bay Buccaneers Tickets in the lower level end zone from $710/season ticket to $990/season ticket. All I can say is "OUCH."

Tuesday, February 12, 2008

Minnesota State High School Hockey Tickets

It's February in Minnesota which means that Minnesota State High School Hockey Tickets have been sent out to those lucky enough to be season ticket holders. The Minnesota Ticket Broker prices on Minnesota State Hockey Tickets this year appear to be similar to the prices that they charged last year. All of the sessions basically range in price from $59 to $99 per ticket. Anyone who has been to the Xcel Energy Center for the Minnesota State Hockey Tournament knows that it is worth every penny. Keep in mind that prices generally spike right after the teams are announced so buy your Minnesota State Hockey Tickets now!

Sunday, February 3, 2008

Golden Gopher Basketball Tickets

I spent the last week monitoring the prices on Minnesota Golden Gopher Basketball Tickets for the game this afternoon versus the Wisconsin Badgers. Prices definitely went up after the Minnesota Gophers beat the Michigan Wolverines on Thursday. If you were interested in sitting between the base lines in a non obstructed good row, you had to be willing to shell out around $145/Ticket. On Sunday, you couldn't buy Gophers Basketball Tickets like that at any price. I am sure that the Wisconsin badger fans scooped up a lot of the tickets.

After the Minnesota Gophers lost today, you can expect demand for Minnesota Golden Gophers Basketball Tickets to really drop. I wouldn't recommend rushing out to buy tickets for any of the remaining games because I am sure that the prices will go down closer to each of the games. However, if for some reason the Gophers go on a roll and win a couple of games in a row and have a chance to make the NCAA Tournament, demand will go up for the last couple of Gopher games. GO GOLDEN GOPHERS!!!

2008 Minnesota Twins Tickets

Today is the first day that an individual can purchase single game Minnesota Twins Tickets for the 2008 season. The Minnesota Twins have continued the practice of charging an extra $5/Ticket for the games versus the New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox and Milwaukee Brewers. For some reason, they don't charge the additional $5/Ticket for the home opener versus Torii Hunter and the Anaheim Angels. I am sure that will be the first game to sell out. You can buy Twins Tickets by going to Twinsfest at the Metrodome on January 26th, 27th or 28th. GO TWINS!!!

Winter Depression

I am sorry that I have been AWOL for the last ten days but I have a case of "Winter Depression" that I can't get rid of. With every Green Bay Packers victory I have slipped into a bigger funk that I can't seem to shake. Now to make matters worse, the Dallas Cowboys choked giving the hated Green Bay Packers the NFC Championship game. It made me sick! Because I am a glutton for Punishment, I checked out the Packers Ticket market for the game. Where do the people in Wisconsin get their money? People are paying $600/Ticket just to get in the door. I even saw some tickets in the Club Level that were selling for $1900/Ticket. There is absolutely no way that Vikings fans would pay that kind of dough for Vikings Tickets to any game at the Metrodome in Minneapolis. Maybe the beer and cheese have seeped into the brains of our neighbors? GO GIANTS!!!

Minnesota Twins Spring Training Tickets

It looks like it is now possible to purchase Minnesota Twins Spring Training Tickets from ticket brokers. Minnesota Twins Spring Training at Hammond Stadium in Fort Meyers, Florida begins on 2/29/2008 and ends on 3/28/2008. The Twins Spring Training Schedule is highlighted by Games versus the Boston Red Sox on 2/29, 3/1 and 3/12 as well as a game versus the New York Yankees on 3/9. I have been to a few games at Hammond Stadium and it is an absolute blast! Nothing is better than buying a few Twins Spring Training Tickets and planting yourself in the sun with an ice cold beverage and a hot dog to watch my favorite MLB team. I am not going this year, but I plan on it next year. If you want to see the Yankees or the Red Sox, you generally need to be willing to pay big bucks because those games sell out fast. Any of the other games you should be able to find for around face value. GO TWINS!!!
