Crazy rockers,
Ween, will be back to
Minnesota in July at Roy Wilkins Auditorium.
I think that this location suits them much better than their show at the Orpheum Theater last summer.
Ween will be touring in support of their new album “LaCucaracha.” They originally recorded 50 songs for the album and narrowed it down the 13 tracks that made the disc.
Ween is a band that has had their hands in every kind of music genre imaginable. They own a record label, they sing dance songs, rock songs, and sing ballads. Even if you do not consider yourself a fan or don’t think you’ve heard a song, I assure you a Ween song has crossed your path. They have been on soundtracks ranging from “Dude Where’s My Car” to U-Turn,” “South Park” and “Spongebob Squarepants.” They have contributed to one of my favorite albums off all time, Queens of the Stone Age’s “Songs for the Death” on the tracks “Mosquito Song” “Gonna Leave You” and “Six Shooter.”
Ween has been acclaimed for their live shows and their show July 19th at the Roy Wilkins Auditorium will be no exception. Roy Wilkins Auditorium tickets will be sure to go fast for this Ween show – the tickets for their show at the Orpheum sold quickly! Seeing Ween July 19th will be a great warm up to Tom Petty and Heartbreakers at the Target Center on the 23rd!
