I just spent some time looking at the Minnesota Vikings schedule and one away game stood out as a must see. The Minnesota Vikings play the San Diego Chargers in San Diego, California. If this game takes place when it is cold in Minnesota, I am definitely going to make the trip. If you haven't been to a Chargers game at Qualcomm Stadium, in San Diego, I highly recommend it. It looks as though Ticket King in Minneapolis is expanding to the Tampa Bay market. I looked online and Ticket King has started to stock Tampa Bay Lightning hockey tickets as well as Tampa Bay Buccaneers tickets. It will be interesting to see if they actually open an office in Tampa Bay, Florida. I attended the Monday Night duel between the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings at TCF Bank Stadium. I arrived at the stadium an hour and a half prior to the game. It was a cold one, let me tell ya. It was a great experience, something I figured would be a "once in a lifetime" type of occasion. Outdoor football, in the snow, against the Bears with the throwback jerseys? While I was headed to the game, I was informed Brett Favre would somehow start and that Adrian Peterson was out. That was kind of a buzzkill.

The game started fast but that was about it. The Vikes took the opening drive and scored on Percy Harvin's catch and run. That was the highlight for the fans, as the Bears embarrassed the Vikings after that. The final score read 40-14. I took in the outdoor game and the aspects of it, but I know it would have been a heck of a lot more fun if they had played competitively.

Vikings Giants Game Moved to Detroit

If you had Vikings tickets for the Vikings Giants game originally scheduled for Sunday, December 12th at noon at the Hubert H Humphrey Metrodome Minneapolis, you are out of luck! Well, unless you can drive or fly to Ford Field in Detroit for the game at 6:20 tonight.

The Metrodome roof collapsed early Sunday morning forcing the Vikings to move the game to a new location. Can you believe it? Well, I guess 20 inches of record setting snowfall can be hard on an almost 30 year old teflon roof. The videos and pictures online are pretty amazing. Vikings fans are definitely disappointed that this home game is no longer at home, but we will remain hopeful that they can repair the roof in time for the Vikings vs Bears Monday night football game one week from today!

Out of curiosity, I did some shopping for Buccaneers tickets and couldn't believe home inexpensive that they are. It looks as though, Ticket King in Minneapolis even owns some Tampa Bay Buccaneers season tickets. There is a ton of availability and you can sit in the lower level for close to face value for most of the Buccaneers games. The only game that is expensive is the Pittsburgh Steelers game. I have been to Raymond James Stadium before and I really enjoyed sitting by the Pirate ship. The fans are super rowdy and they take their football seriously! If your favorite NFL team ever visits the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, I highly recommend making the trip. Keep in mind, it doesn't snow in Tampa!

Seeing DEVO in person has always been on my "Bucket List" and I was given the opportunity to check that one off my list last Saturday at the Minnesota Zoo. All I can say is "WOW." Not only was DEVO really good, my Minnesota Zoo DEVO tickets were awesome. I sat in Row C of the Left section just six seats from the inside aisle. Row C is actually the front row of the Left section at the Minnesota Zoo Amphitheatre. From my seats, I was approximately ten feet from the band. The only complaint that I have is that the seats were very close to the speakers and my ears rang for two days. Other than that, the entire experience was incredible. When buying Minnesota Zoo tickets, don't be afraid to sit in the Left or Right sections, unless you are on the outside aisles, the seats are really good. I bought my DEVO Minnesota Zoo tickets from Ticket King the day before the show and got a really good deal! Just remember, "Whip it real good."

A buddy of mine went to the last Minnesota Vikings home game and was lucky enough to have a Minnesota Vikings VIP Parking Pass. He and his family parked on the Metrodome property right by the Minnesota Vikings Ticket Office. He said that he was able to park about 100 yards from the Metrodome gate. All I know, is that when it is cold outside, it sure sounds nice to be able to park on the Metrodome property for a Vikings game. It sounds like you could almost leave your jacket in the car. A buddy of mine went to the Vikings vs. Cowboys game last week and bought a few Minnesota Vikings Tickets from a "scalper" outside the Metrodome. The good news was that the Vikings Tickets were only $5/Ticket but the bad news was that the Vikings Football Tickets were "Obstructed View." I did some checking and found that all Obstructed View Vikings Tickets are stamped "Obstructed View." Apparently any Vikings seat in the upper level in row 26 or lower does NOT have any obstruction however, any seats above row 26 may be obstructed. My advice is to only Buy Vikings Tickets from a reputable source or a local company like Ticket King and to make sure that the Vikings Tickets aren't stamped "Obstructed View." My buddy ended up finding a couple of empty seats in the lower level because his seats were directly behind a cement pillar and couldn't see any of the field. GO VIKES!!!

TCF Bank Stadium Parking

It looks as though Parking around TCF Bank Stadium is already as hot of a commodity as the Minnesota Gophers Football Tickets are. My gut tells me that people are going to find that parking on the West Bank or on the St. Paul Campus and taking a shuttle to the the Gophers game is not the way to experience a Gopher Football game. The only way to truly experience TCF Bank Stadium, is to park in one of the very small parking lots on the Minnesota Campus adjacent to TCF Bank Stadium and the only way to get a parking spot in one of those lots is to donate money to the University of Minnesota or pay a Ticket Broker big money. I think people should fork out the cash and find a parking spot as close to the stadium as possible and really whoop it up! Go Gophers!!!

With all of the Brett Favre hype this summer, The Minnesota Vikings vs. Green Bay Packers game has gotten a lot of attention and consequently the tickets to the game are expensive. There are however, lots of great games on the Minnesota Vikings Schedule that have received less attention and therefore have much cheaper tickets. A great example is the Week 10 Vikings vs. Detroit Lions match-up. The Detroit Lions will travel to the HHH Metrodome on Sunday November 15th for a 12:00 game against the Minnesota Vikings.

I found tickets for seats in Section 225 facing the Big Scoreboard in the Metrodome for only $30. I have also seen Minnesota Vikings Tickets on the Goal Line on the Vikings Side for only $40 online. Like the rest of the Vikings Tickets though, these seats will get more expensive the closer it gets to the game and the better the Vikings do, my suggestion would be to buy cheap Vikings tickets early before the prices go up.

The PGA tour is coming to Chaska, Minnesota August 10-16th to the Hazeltine National Golf Club. I was checking Ticket King for Hazeltine ticket availability and tickets are disappearing much faster than I had thought they would. With the predicted nice weather and the Big-Name Golfers coming I'm guessing that PGA Hazeltine Tickets will be sold out before the end of the weekend.

So, Brett Favre isn't coming to the Minnesota Vikings after all. Some people may be disappointed to hear this news, but I'm celebrating from a financial standpoint. What I've scouted is an immediate and visible drop in ticket prices after Favre's news broke this week. Turns out, the hype anticipating his press release caused a small surge in ticket prices as even mild fans decided this would be the year to catch a game live. But now that Brett Favre is out of the picture, those fans are not so interested. Lucky for people like me!

After tracking several sites out there, I found the best deals through this one at Minnesota Vikings Tickets. Prices are noticeably deflated--again, good for us loyal Minnesota Vikings fans. The Minnesota Wild announced their schedule yesterday and tickets are now available for the 2009-2010 Wild season. I noticed that local ticket brokers, like Ticket King already have MN Wild Tickets posted for sale. The Wild's schedule is going to be good one with 41 home games at the Xcel Energy Center there are plenty of games to go to.

The home opener will be Tuesday October 6 at 8:00 against the Anaheim Ducks. Wild fans are already gearing up for a big season with new coach Todd Richards and a new lineup without Marian Gaborik

I just talked to a buddy of mine who is a season ticket holder for the Minnesota Vikings and he told me he received an email that the season tickets were being dropped into the mail today! I also heard that this years tickets will not be a crappy cardboard sheet like they have been forever, but finally the Vikings are catching up with the times and the season tickets will be sent in books with tear out tickets like the MN Wild do it. With Brett Favre mania getting more and more hype the closer we get to the training camp, it is highly likely that Minnesota Vikings Tickets for the Vikings/Packers game on October 5th is sure to be a total sell out. It's only been a few days since the Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher, named Minnesota-native Todd Richards as the team's new Head Coach. And already, I've got a great feeling about next season!

Todd Richards previously played collegiately with the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers and spent last season as an Assistant Coach for the San Jose Sharks. In all 13 of his professional seasons as a player, as well as all seven as a Head Coach or Assistant Coach, Todd Richards has made the playoffs. Because the General Manager-Coach relationship is so important in the success of the organization, the Minnesota Wild already have a great advantage next season. Chuck Fletcher was able to hire his own Head Coach and has a proven track record working with Todd Richards. It looks like the Minnesota Wild have the right idea- to hire passionate, experienced people to work off the ice and demand that the players play an aggressive, up-tempo style on the ice.

They're going to be a hard team to play against this season, yet still exciting and entertaining for the fans. I can't wait to watch a faster brand of hockey at the Xcel Energy Center. I'll bet the Minnesota Wild tickets for next season will be one of the hottest commodities around!

Future of Timberwolves Tickets

There has definitely been a lot going on lately with the Timberwolves—and I completely agree with the decision to ‘clean house’ and basically start over from scratch! To have kept Kevin McHale would have signaled to Timberwolves fans and the Twin Cities in general that the status quo was “OK” and that change is not necessary!

My hope with all this change is to see Minnesota Timberwolves season ticket sales increase! How awesome would it be to attend a T-wolves game to a packed crowd?! And not just when the ‘big wigs’ are in town, but every game, because the Timberwolves are the big wigs! I think the Timberwolves are right on track and that Timberwolves tickets will become a sought after ticket in the next couple of years! I’d buy my Minnesota Timberwolves Season tickets now, while the selection is really good!

Minnesota Twins Tickets Disappearing Fast

Wow! I can't believe how few tickets there are out there in Ticket Land for the Minnesota Twins Series this weekend against the Houston Astros! There have been a lot more Minnesota Twins tickets available for basically every other series this year than there are now for this weekend’s series!

I wonder why that is….The Minnesota Twins have been out of town for over two weeks, have Minnesota Twins fans just felt neglected after three away series in a row!? Or is the demand up that much just because the series falls on Father’s Day weekend? It seems plausible that a lot of people would buy Minnesota Twins tickets for their father’s for a great Father’s Day gift.

All I know is that if I’m serious about going to any of the games this weekend, I better buy my Twins tickets now if I want to sit anywhere but the "nose-bleed" sections! Anyone else out there thinking of buying Minnesota Twins tickets for this series against the Houston Astros better buy now because I don't think prices are going to drop!

TCF Bank Stadium Tickets

I feel sorry for those of you that haven't a chance to visit the University of Minnesota campus in Minneapolis and see the new Gophers Football stadium. TCF Bank Stadium looks AWESOME!!! Just seeing TCF Stadium made me wonder how I was going to get Golden Gophers Football Tickets for the inaugural game at the new Golden Gophers Stadium versus Air Force. If that game has even close to the same demand as the first ever Minnesota Wild game at the Xcel Energy Center, I am going to have to shell out some BIG BUCKS if I want Gopher Football Tickets. Oh well, I guess that it is only money and you only live once!

The Boss Still Has it!

Last night I had the opprotunity of a life time. At the very last minute I decided to go to Bruce Springsteen and the E Street band at the Xcel Energy Center. I bought my Brice Springsteen tickets from Ticket King and it just so happened that they were in the best section of the Xcel: 119 row 6 seats 1-3. The view of the stage was absolutely amazing, I will post some pictures below so you can see for yourself. I heard that Xcel Energy Center tickets for this show were easy to find at first, Bruce Springsteen tickets were being sold by Ticket King below face value then all of a sudden at the last minute super great tickets became available. All of the people sitting in front of me got their tickets the day of the show as well.
I bought these Xcel Eneregy Center tickets as a gift for my mom for Mother's Day, and I kept the location of our tickets a secret. When the usher stopped us at the entrance to explain what aisle we were supposed to go down, my mom got a view of the stage and by the time we got to our seats only 6 rows from the stage she was crying she was so happy! It's always a great feeling to do something nice for someone!
As for the show, Bruce and the band played for 3 FULL hours. Normally The Boss plays 3 encores, however, last night he only played 1. I'm not complaining - I heard a lot of songs that I hadn't heard live before like "I'm on Fire" "Rosalita" and "The Ghost of Tom Joad." Another high light for me was seeing the new drummer the E Street Band was trying out: Jay Weinberg, Max Weinberg's son. Jay Weinberg played drums for half the show and then his dad took over; they are trying to get him acquainted with the grueling live show because in August Max has to go back to to the Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien and Jay will have to be the full time drummer. For an 18 year old kid he was phenomonal! I can't wait to see where his drumming skills take him!

The Gophers Football Season Ticket Holders have started to select their Minnesota Golden Gophers Football Tickets for next year's inaugural season at TCF Bank Stadium. It will be interesting to see what the demand is like at an on campus, outdoor and smaller venue like TCF Bank Stadium. My hunch is that Minnesota gopher Football Tickets will be super expensive.

I am planning on making the four hour trip to Lambeau Field this year for the big game between my beloved Minnesota Vikings and the hated Green Bay Packers. The Minnesota Vikings just released their 2009 Pre Season opponents and as far as the ticket demand goes, they couldn't be better. The Vikings will host the Dallas Cowboys and the Kansas City Chiefs during the Pre Season at the Metrodome. Both teams have a rabid fan base that is willing to travel. That facto should lead to increased demand for Vikings Tickets to those games. Historically, Pre Season Minnesota Vikings Tickets sell for $5/Ticket. It know that it is hard to believe, but this is the last Minnesota Twins season at the Metrodome. By the sounds of it, there is definitely some level of nostalgia, felt by Twins fans, which has lead to Minnesota Twins Tickets being a super hot commodity. Get this, the Minnesota Twins have sold out the home opener on 4/6/2009 versus the Seattle Mariners. Just days after my last post applauding the Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota Wild for the freeze that they put on ticket prices for next year, the Minnesota Timberwolves did one better. On Tuesday, the Minnesota Timberwolves announced that they have slashed the 2009 prices on whole season Minnesota Timberwolves Tickets. Here are some of the highlights for next year:

1) Timberwolves Tickets in the upper level corner in decent rows are only $5/Ticket.

2) Timberwolves Basketball Tickets in the lower level corner are only $15/Ticket.

3) Minnesota Timberwolves Basketball Tickets in the first few rows of the upper level are just $15/Ticket.

You have to hand it to the Timberwolves, they have made a bold statement with their new pricing. No longer will price be a reason for the average fan not to head down to the Target Center for a Timberwolves game. WAY TO GO TIMBERWOLVES!!!
